poem response

Poem 1:
  • I find it interesting that it seems like the author is talking to someone but they really aren’t. To me it gives it a more dramatic effect. I feel like they are talking to me.
  • I like how some stanzas are longer and some are shorter. It breaks it up. It’s not just one continuous, boring set of words
  • I feel inspired. Like it’s teaching me lessons - makes me more motivated 
Poem 2: 

  • I found it interesting that it referred the poem to a hive. I’m not too sure what it might mean. 
  • A lot of the time, it talks about doing something with the poem that you can’t obviously do. It’s interesting though because it kinda seems like they all mean the same thing but what that is, I’m not too sure.
