The Life or Death Choice

setting:

The white rabbit with fur as white as snow stood covered in metal. He wielded a sword, sharp and piercing. He stood, looking at 3 doors. Each door was different. The first door stood tall. It was red with gold accents swirling around and 2 gold doorknobs. It's elegance over threw the other two. The second door was merely planks of wood nailed together. It was surrounded by a pattern of stones. The third door was made of steel. It was strong, held together by bolts. The three posed as choices, each holding different paths.

plot:

The white rabbit with fur as white as snow was knighted by the king, in hopes of rescuing the princess. It was his last hope, as many other knights went in search of the princess yet never returned. The white rabbit went off, scared for his life yet ready to go into battle. He approached the castle where the princess lies, trapped. He enters. He approaches three doors. The first stood tall. It was red with accents of gold swirling around, connecting back to the gold doorknobs. The second was small, barely big enough for the white rabbit. It was merely planks of wood nailed together with a door handle at the edge. The wooden door was encased in stones, creating an arch above. The last door, a bit taller than the second but smaller than the first, was made of steel. It was strong, held together by bolts. It was the most intimidating out of the three. The white rabbit could hear the princess on the other side, the only question is, which door? If the white rabbit chose wrong, he'll end up like the other knights. If he chooses right, he will save the princess. The white rabbit needed to decide. Instead of blindly making a choice, he looked around. When he looked down, scuff marks lied on the stone floor. He followed the tracks, both leading to the first and third door. No scuffs lead to the second door. There scuff marks came from the previous knights, who attempted but failed to save the princess. They all chose the wrong door. The white rabbit knew from that that the second door would be the right choice. He opened the door, ducking a bit to make it through. When he emerged into the room, there he found the princess, eager to escape from her prison. From the darkness, a man emerged, his face covered by a metal helmet. He wielded a sword as well. "You must make a choice noble knight. You or the princess." The white rabbit lunged at the man, deciding to not go down without a fight. The two scuffled, swinging their sword and making attempts to hit each other. It wasn't until the sword was knocked out of the white rabbit's hand that the fighting stopped. Unfortunately, the white rabbit must make the choice he didn't want to make. "Take me," the white rabbit said, surrendering. The man gestured for the princess to leave, telling her to never come back. "Well knight, you truly are quite noble, and for that I will set you free as well." The man proceeded to take off his helmet, revealing himself as the king. The white rabbit was stunned. "You see, noble knight, this was all a test. I needed to see if the ones that worked to protect me were the right men. All of those men failed. They didn't take the time to think and figure out the right door. The only other knight able to make it through refused to sacrifice himself, resulting in his destruction. You sir, you proved to be the most noble, brave knight in the kingdom. Because of your selflessness, you shall be by my side, and be head night. Will you accept that task?" Without hesitation, the white rabbit replied, "Of course your majesty," and proceeded to bow. The white rabbit exited with the king. Waiting outside was the princess, waiting to give her sincerest thank you. All three returned to the kingdom in a golden carriage. When they returned, the whole kingdom welcomed the white rabbit with applause. From there on forward, he protected the kingdom, recruiting knights and teaching them how to be noble and brave, like him.
